One pair of glasses, two uses!

Last spring, I had the chance to try Eyezen lenses: a new type of optical lens designed to reduce visual fatigue while also combating premature eye ageing.
You will remember that I talked about my entire experience in a magazine column. After the trial period, I was completely converted and I was ready to purchase my own pair of integrated Eyezen lenses.
It was at that moment that the Essilor team approached me to try another one of their innovations. Along with integrating my own prescription in the Eyezen lenses, they also wanted me to try the new edition of their Transitions lenses.
I accepted immediately- having eye glasses that were 100% personalised seemed to be a really practical eyewear solution. They would be stylish (because I had selected the frames myself) and they would offer my eyes complete protection whether I was inside working in front of my computer or outside doing one of a myriad of different tasks. No matter what I was doing, my eyes would be protected from the harmful effects of the blue light emitted from the various screens that I use as well as from the UV rays while I was enjoying some time outdoors.
That being said, I was still a little sceptical about Transitions lenses. I had this preconceived idea that they would make me look old. But that notion quickly vanished when I received my new frames. I quickly discovered the joy of having glasses that were both stylish and practical.
I was quickly able to deal with one of my biggest irritants - I was able to enjoy reading outside for hours WITHOUT getting a headache. I used to simply substitute my sunglasses for regular glasses and would end up with a terrible headache. Gone are the days when I would wear my sunglasses over my regular glasses in order to see AND protect my eyes. Now, I've got ONE pair that answers all my needs.
In addition, I must admit that I was happily surprised by the quality of the Transitions lenses. The technology is so advanced that I don't even notice if my lenses are tinted or not. The transition from indoors to outdoors is so natural that, at first, I had to ask people around me to confirm whether my lenses had in fact gone from completely transparent to a light brown tint.
As you can see, I am a very satisfied client and this is why I wanted to talk to you about my two Essilor discoveries. If you want to know more about these two products, I invite you to visit their website.
